Yates Cellars Now Open
Yates Cellars is now open daily from noon to 6pm.
Yates Cellars' Sale Series
Each week starting on Friday at noon until Thursday at 6 p.m. we will be featuring one selection of our many wines for half price. By purchasing one bottle or as many as twelve you will receive another of the same variety for free. This is a great time to stock up for those receptions, parties, and celebrations! If you can't make it to our wine shop the week your favorite wine is on sale, no problem, for a 50% down payment we will hold your favorite wine during the week of the sale (mail personal checks to Yates Cellars or call to reserve with a credit card).
This Week's Special, October 3 – October 9: Vincent
This week's special is Vincent.
Two bottles for $12, or two cases for $144.
Our 19th century wine shop located on Rt. 54A between Branchport and Penn Yan, also known as the Hampstead Mansion, was built in 1838 by Henry Rose. A visit to this Yates County Historic Landmark will definitely be an experience not soon forgotten.
Yates Cellars was established in 2000 and is a small, limited production boutique winery operation with three vineyard locations all in Yates County. We are located in the Finger Lakes Wine Region of New York State and our vineyards are on Keuka and Seneca Lakes. Here, among the crystal clear lakes and rolling hills, we grow and produce over 15 varieties of wine made from:
- Native Grapes
- French Hybrid Grapes
- Vinifera Grapes
Owner, vineyard manager and winemaker Alan Hunt has over 30 years experience in the wine industry and Yates Cellars is the culmination of this expertise.
We hope a stop at our new tasting room and sales shop will be a relaxing and memorable time.
Cheers!
